$66,000 $89,000 annually, full time, with benefits

The successful candidate works on a variety of technical projects and environmental programs for clients in our public, private, and industrial sectors.
This role involves supporting PBS’s multi-disciplinary environmental compliance, due diligence assessment and remedial projects that require working knowledge of state and federal regulations.

Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in geosciences, environmental science or an applicable science-related field
- 4 to 8 years of environmental site assessment (Phase I / II and UST) experience
- Good critical thinking, data evaluation, and organizational skills
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with Oregon and Washington environmental regulations
- Able to work as part of a team with diverse backgrounds and skills
- Ability to travel to project sites (driver’s license required) and conduct field work
Desirable Qualifications :
- Current geology licenses (Oregon / Washington)
- Current UST licenses (Oregon / Washington)
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project management
- Managing environmental assessment projects, engaging clients, regulators and stakeholders
- Overseeing and mentoring junior staff
- Field and reporting tasks for environmental site assessments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining clear communication with clients and colleagues.
- Proven experience with site investigation and groundwater sampling procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including technical writing.
- Data compilation / interpretation; management and reporting of field data.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER and current 8-hour refresher
