About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Medical Surgical Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night 4x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : NM license can be pending at submission Certifications : Required - ACLS, BLS;
Preferred - NIH Must-Have : COVID vaccination (religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of exemption form signed by a provider) Job Description : Must work 2 out of 3 of the holiday bundles : Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, or New Year's Eve & New Year's Day.
- No locals within a 75-mile radius.- Ratio : 1 : 6- First-timers accepted.- Weekend work might be required, depending on census and staff availability.
- On-call not required.- Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs; will have a patient assignment similar to this department.
- Open to accommodating block schedule, but not guaranteed.- RTO restrictions : greater than 7 days needs approval.- Special requirements include Med / Surg, colostomy care, feeding tube care, blood product administration, and various other medical procedures and care management.
- Unit Info / Patient Diagnoses include care for conditions such as CHF exacerbation, pneumonia, cellulitis, alcohol withdrawal, and more.
- Hospital Highlights : Level III Trauma Center, Level I Teaching facility, 65 inpatient beds, 12 ICU beds, use of Cerner for charting.
- Scrub Color : Navy Blue- Compliance document deadline is ten days prior to start.- Compliance requires a non-local driver's license uploaded to file or a written transportation plan.
- MOAB certification may be required for certain roles; failure to pass could result in termination. Certified candidates may receive a rate bump upon verification.
