Cardiovascular Critical Care (CVCC) nurses treat patients with compassion, care, and clinical excellence. On this 34-bed unit, CVCC nurses primarily care for patients post open heart surgery, CABG, valve and aortic aneurysm repair, heart, and lung transplant, VADs, peripheral vascular surgeries, and ECMO.

Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.Requires at least 6 moths of Tech experience if less than 1 year of RN experience.Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.

Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit / department specialty according to patient care policies.
