Job Responsibilities :
- Work with the ELL Coordinator to administer language assessments for the district.
- Communicate the role of the ELL program to students and their families as well as support the intake process for schools.
Qualifications :
- DESE licensed ESL / ELL teacher, multilingual, with experience in language acquisition;
- Proficiency in an additional language preferred;
- U.S. citizen or work permit required.
Terms :
This is a non-union position. The work day is 19 hours of a regular school hours based on student registration needs, schedule to be determined with Supervisor.
Peak times are in the summer from July- September. Non-licensed teacher $30.00 / hr.; Licensed teachers $35 / hr. This position is contingent on funding approval.
