About The Position
Job Title : CT / X-ray Technician Job Specialty : Dual Modality (CT and X-ray) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12 hours, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 10 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years preferred License : Active VA State License Certifications : AHA BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R Must-Have : Strong IV skills Job Description : Perform dual modality duties, including both CT and X-ray imaging.
- Conduct common CT studies such as Heads, Abdomen, Pelvic, Angio, and extremities.- Execute X-ray procedures for Chest (Port) and routine exams.
- Work with EMR / Equipment Brand EPIC and Fuji PACs.- Familiarity with PACS Visage, CT unit - GE, and X-ray units Philips.
- Adhere to a weekend schedule with shifts every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night.- Participate in a floor-specific orientation, up to 1 week maximum.
- Comply with a predetermined holiday schedule.- Wear designated scrub color : Black.- Operate without floating or on-call responsibilities.
- Ensure Epic access is necessary for the position.This position requires strong technical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently through the night shifts.
