Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : OR - Circulate Job Duration : To be determined Shift : Days, 8 hours, Monday-Friday with call requirement of 3 days a week including every 3rd weekend Guaranteed Hours : To be determined Experience : 2 years of current hospital experience in OR with experience in ENDO required License : Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and registered with the New Hampshire State Board of Nursing Certifications : - Current ACLS Certification- Current BLS Certification- Current PALS Certification Must-Have : - OR circulate experience with ortho (including total hip, total knee), general surgery, podiatry, ENT, ENDO- Familiarity with computer applications- Central Line, IV start skills- Vent BiPAP experience Job Description : - Provide professional nursing care to surgical services patients under the direction of the Surgical Services Director.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are available and in good condition for surgical procedures.- Perform accurate documentation of the surgical process, including the team involved and any complications that may arise.
- Participate in on-call shifts with assignments during weekdays and alternating weekends as needed.- Utilize training or experience in nursing activities concerning pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
- Exhibit technical aptitude and a willingness to learn software applications.
