Industry leader, very reputable and growing Fortune 500 manufacturer is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan commenusurate with expeience with a base salary ranging from $90k to $95k plus a 15% annual bonus (pays out on a quarterly basis) and relocation assistance (if needed).
The ideal candidate will possess electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment along with supervisory experience.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
responsibilities :
Summary of Responsibilities :
- Managing the maintenance of electrical equipment and providing the day-to-day supervision of the Electrical Maintenance Employees (MTE) within Primary Operations.
- Develop into a maintenance expert for the electrical and automation systems within assigned area.
- Act as a coach to employees and ensure that they have the tools and knowledge required to safely perform their job.
- Manage spending budget using project management skills, and a thorough understanding of the process needed to properly maintain the equipment in assigned area.
- Interact with Purchasing, Operations, Maintenance, Op Tech / Continuous Improvement, Accounting, Engineering, Vendors and Suppliers and counterparts from other plants.
- Develop a maintenance strategy that would ensure a high level of equipment reliability.
- This position would be a daylight shift but should also be available on an on-call basis for nights and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications : - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited school
- 2 yrs. of electrical maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing / industrial environment or the military
- Must be able to work in a hot, dusty environment, including climbing stairs, ladders, and walking inclines. Also, able to work / walk safely on uneven surfaces and outdoors in all weather
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years of electrical maintenance experience
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a heavy manufacturing / industrial operation or the military
- Working knowledge of PLCs, process automation, drives, instrumentation, AC / DC industrial control, power distribution, and AC / DC motors
- Working knowledge of basic mechanical equipment such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps and process water systems, mechanical power transmission, lubrication, and overhead cranes
