YOUR ROLE

As an IT team member, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing technology solutions that are the foundation of the world class customer service that our customers expect and deserve now and in the future.

In your role as a .Net Developer on the LTC Claims team, you will support Genworth's top strategic priorities and the critical systems necessary for Genworth to provide world class service to our policyholders when they need us most.

You will work with our business partners and other IT teams for the support and development of LTC Claims Administration applications and services, delivering quality solutions to ensure the system can support complex business operations.

What you will be doing

  • Serve as an Application Developer supporting Long-Term Care Claims technology Operations team by designing, developing, supporting scalable workflow applications used in LTC Claims Operations
  • Develop software utilizing PEGA Rules Process Commander (PRPC) for both Business Process Management and Business Process Rules Development initiatives.
  • Performing ongoing refactoring of code, utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts, and delivering continuous improvement.
  • Maintain peer relationship with cross functional technology, solutions, and users of application.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Testers, and business users to effectively prioritize development activities within resource constrains.
  • Evaluate and adapt to new technologies and toolsets as needed.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with Pega guardrails.

What you bring

  • Solid understanding of Software Engineering principles
  • Ability to work well, flexible with changing priorities, and proficiency with collaborating and communicating with multiple teams across various levels of the organization.
  • Must have the ability and experience in developing innovative approaches and solutions to solving design, architectural, and technical issues.
  • Intellectually Curious with a Continuous Process improvement mentality
  • BS in computer science or equivalent certifications and experience
  • 5+ years of overall experience in Pega application development
  • Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) and / or Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
  • 3+ years of experience in developing BPM applications using Pega PRPC Platform 7 & 8
  • 3+ years of experience in configuring various rules and features (like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Single-Sign-On, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners, Connectors and SOAP / REST Services) using Pega platform.
  • Enforce best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding.
  • 3+ Experience in full PRPC implementation cycle including enterprise Class Structure design and Rulesets design.
  • 3+ years of overall experience designing and building robust, distributed enterprise applications.
  • 3+ years of Experience in Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall project methodologies
  • 3+ years of Experience in programming languages specifically using either .NET or Java and relational database technologies like SQL Server or Oracle
