We are seeking a Retail Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for engaging with guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere at Donají Oaxacan Crafts, a branch of Oaxacalifornia.
Responsibilities :
- Proactively enhance the guest experience with excellent customer service, addressing guest questions and concerns with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Understand and promote Oaxacan art products offered in the store
- Ensure the store is clean, organized and visually appealing at all times
- Assist with inventory management and replenishment
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and empathy
Qualifications :
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail sales and providing exceptional customer service
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds
