As part of our growing US SMB Marketing team, we are looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager who is passionate about helping small businesses succeed on Amazon.
In this role, you will own the strategy, execution, and measurement of integrated marketing campaigns during key local shopping moments in the US, such as Back to School.
You will be responsible for researching and building a seasonal marketing strategy to drive consideration and adoption of ads, activating a 360 marketing experience from mid funnel media to scaled marketing to sales channels, and measuring the impact of your initiatives.
You are results-oriented, excited about end-to-end ownership of a program from strategy to execution, and have a relentless focus on using customer data and insights to deliver bar-raising experiences.
Key job responsibilities
- Research : Perform data analysis and customer research to uncover business opportunities
- Strategy development : formulate marketing and sales strategies and roadmaps aligned with business opportunities; align your vision with leaders and partners
- Marketing execution : Develop marketing content, lead sales enablement and trainings, build SOPs, and partner with relevant stakeholders to implement the roadmap
- Reporting : identify success metrics, measure the impact of your initiatives, gather feedback, and leverage insights to improve go-forward strategies
About the team
The global SMB (Small and Medium Businesses) marketing team serves sales unmanaged advertisers globally. Our mission is twofold : 1) Grow Amazon Ads awareness & consideration amongst SMBs globally 2) Drive Sponsored Ads demand for the self service (SSO) channel.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- 8+ years experience in retail, marketing, or related fields
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions
- Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
