POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
The manufacturing engineer shall support the business in areas of new product development; process improvement; daily production support;
project manage key programs; analyze and interpret technical data (engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, etc.
and create shop routings, operations sheets, tools, and other necessary processes and equipment to produce a high quality product.
Principal Activities
- Based on requirements from customer orders, plan sequences of operations for fabrication and assembly of products.
- Ensure efficient and effective manufacturing methods are used that are compatible to available machines.
- Specifies, design and / or procures special tooling or equipment required to attain product per customer requirement with in budgeted cost and time.
- Programs CNC machines to effectively and efficiently produce desired product.
- Participate in the Company's Corrective Action and MRB Boards.
- Analyze and resolve fabrication and tooling issues to avoid problems.
- Create new or modify existing manufacturing drawings using CAD methodology.
- Value engineer existing products and processes to reduce cost, lead time and cycle times.
- Complies with all company policies / procedures.
- Complies with all military and contractual requirements.
- All other duties and tasks as assigned.

- Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project, Solidworks, CATIA and other applicable tools.
Education
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) with 2+ years' experience, or 10 years' of equivalent experience considered
