The following position will require college hours or passing score on the Kentucky Para-Educator Assessment.

Minimum Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Passing score on the Kentucky Para-Educator Assessment or college hours
- Successful teaching experience
- Experience in working with children and parents with special needs, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic backgrounds
- Program specific certifications / training

- Associate Degree or approved equivalent training ( college semester hours) and experience
- One (1) year successful teaching experience
- Experience in working with children and parents with special needs, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic backgrounds
- Program specific certifications / training
Substitute Instructor III
Job Description
Hourly Rate : $. / hour ( no benefits )
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree
- Three (3) years successful teaching experience
- Experience in working with children and parents with special needs, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic backgrounds
- Program specific certifications / training
The following items are required in order to approve all applicants for hire :
- Criminal Records Check (instructions for CRC will be sent by JCPS Substittute Center)
- Child Abuse & Neglect Check (instructions for CAN will be sent by JCPS Substittute Center)
- TB Test Results (within 1 year)
- Physical (within 1 year)
- Official Transcripts or High School Diploma
