Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town.

PURPOSE OF POSITION : Assisting the paint crew with painting projects around the property, indoors and outdoors, by preparing painting surfaces and masking off windows and non-paintable surfaces

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Prepare for the work day by assisting with the allocation of supplies to team members
• Follow the work process, working on projects prepping areas for the paint team and assisting department staff as needed
• Proves to be dependable and punctual in order to help the team maximize efficiency
• Contact department Manager or Assistant Manager when problems arise
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Painting experience helpful
• Must be physically able to perform painting related tasks
• Able to safely work on ladders, scaffolding, man lifts, etc.
• Able to lift and carry 50 + lbs.
• Keep a clean and neat work place
• Self motivated able to work on own from time to time
• Eye for detail - take pride in your work
• Demonstrate basic skills, including but not limited to : preparing, masking, and sanding area to be painted and applying product per recommendations to provide a long lasting and quality result
• Display good communication skills within the department as well as with other departments around the property

UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS :

• Shirts and pants provided and cleaned by the company
• Cold weather outerwear provided and cleaned by the company if applicable
• Personal clothing : boots, footwear goggles, etc. provided by employee

PAY RATE :

Pay : $20.00 per hour
