Expect to Make a Difference ,
Caregivers provide quality care to seniors and the disabled by doing the following :
- Provide non-medical one-on-one care
- Administer personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence issues)
- Provide medication and appointment reminders
- Assist with walking and provide stabilization
- Provide companionship and conversation
- Perform light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, laundry, etc)
- Preparation of meals and clean up meal related items (feeding, if necessary)
- Contribute to a positive living environment
- Help clients to have an independent and active life
- Run errands
- Maintain records of client progress and services performed
- Report changes in client's condition
