Leidos QTC Health Services is hiring an EHR Integration Manager. This role is responsible for managing the project life cycle in support of key internal and external stakeholders as Leidos QTC Health Services Office of Technology embarks on an integration with provider partner Electronic Health Record (EHR) software applications.
The EHR Integration Manager participates in complex decision-making; develops implementation strategies, defines scope, and performs capability analysis with the support of technical resources;
and, maintains project plans, budget, and timelines. The EHR Integration Manager reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
This is a remote position with up to % travel (to meet in person quarterly with team members to plan efforts).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages full integration life cycle from analysis of critical connects and kick-off through implementation completion and transition to support.
- Supports integration efforts, operational planning, execution, and evaluation of project across the enterprise.
- Leads integration meetings and workgroup sessions.
- Leads organizational change management related to EHR integration.
- Contributes to the development of data flows from Leidos QTC Health Services to provider systems.
- Works with internal teams to advance and resolve project issues in order to optimize results ensuring project execution and accountability.
- Leads team through project planning activities including conducting project team planning session, communicating deliverables, clarifying dependencies, leading issue resolution, and escalating issues when appropriate.
- Keeps integration team engaged and accountable to meet project milestones.
- Defines roles and responsibilities for team members.
- Works effectively with internal team to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Communicates project goals, milestones, expectations, and outcomes through regular touchpoints, distribution of status briefings, and facilitating internal and external meetings.
- Acts as the main point of contact between OoT leadership and integration team.
- Interfaces with staff across the organization throughout project lifecycle and manages project activities and communications across all project teams (communication vehicles include team meetings, meeting minutes, e-mails, key documents, etc.).
- Work with Program Execution to track project timelines, risks and budget; updating the team with status reports in order to meet and exceed projected metrics.
- Ensures team compliance with deliverables.
Competencies :
- Proven past experience in implementation / integration of EHR systems, clinical workflows and integration with other dependent modules / systems.
- Experience in administering of EHR systems.
- Demonstrated communications skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex IT projects including all elements of scope, schedule, budget, risk evaluation, issue resolution, quality, system integration, staffing, and communication driving the process with a big picture analysis.
- Must be able to self-manage and prioritize daily schedules, work effectively in a collaborative style with internal and external customers, team members, managers, and executives.
- Strong ability to pro-actively identify and mitigate project risks, escalate and track issues to resolution, and creatively problem solve to find alternative solutions.
- Must be solutions oriented and have the ability to drive for results that add value to the project goals.
- Great communication skills, proactive / action oriented with superior facilitation and presentation skills.
- Must have an adaptive project management and communication approach that aligns with the needs of the project.

Education and / or Experience :
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Healthcare required - OR - equivalent work experience.
- MBA / MHA Graduate degree preferred.
- Exp. with Athena - OR - multiple, similar EMR / EHR deployments required.
- years of experience in a management / supervisory role
- years project management and software systems implementation experience required.
- Certified Project Management Professional preferred.
- Must be able to successfully pass the National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
