Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for an experienced Special Education Teacher to join our dedicated team, serving school districts in the Owasso, OK area.
We are looking for passionate educators committed to making a difference in the lives of students.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Adapt general education lessons to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
- Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive environment.
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining an environment conducive to learning for all students.
- Collaborate with other professionals to create the best educational plans for students.
- Monitor students' progress and prepare reports as needed.
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in special education or related field.
- Valid Oklahoma State Certification in Special Education.
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred.
- Knowledge of teaching methods and educational strategies for students with disabilities. Benefits :
