Our client is in search of a Technical Sales Representative to drive growth in their product lines that specialize in microwave-assisted synthesis, digestion, FTIR, and Raman spectroscopy.
This opportunity is focused on the New England and New York territory, with an ideal location near Boston. However, major cities within the territory will also be considered.
The salary range for this role is $86,000 to $97,000 per year. The commission plan is unlimited, with monthly payouts from the first sale, and includes bonuses for exceeding targets.
They offer a comprehensive benefits package, contribute to your 401k through profit sharing, and provide a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.
There is also a sign-on bonus potential.
Core responsibilities include :
- Generating and cultivating new accounts while effectively managing existing accounts.
- Delivering presentations to audiences of various sizes, including C-suite executives, production and lab managers, and technicians.
- Evaluating opportunities, crafting and presenting proposals, and successfully closing business deals.
- Frequent travel (up to 50-60%, including overnight stays) for meetings, demos, and installations.
Key skills and qualifications :
- Previous experience in technical sales, preferably within the analytical instruments sector.
- Exceptional communication skills and solid business acumen.
- Ability to work autonomously with a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
- A bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering is preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and passport.
