As a Store Manager, you will leverage your leadership skills to coach, train, and guide your team to excel in their roles and uphold our high-quality standards.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will serve as their right hand and run daily operations in their absence. You will make a positive impact on overall store performance by setting the example for account management, marketing, and compliance all while providing an unmatched customer experience in our high-velocity and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

Coach, lead, and develop all store employees to obtain new business and increase store growth by demonstrating knowledge of and training on systems, Company standards, account management, recovery (collections), job duties, and performance reports.

Lead the charge and set the example for all store employees to identify local marketing strategies, use business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtain referrals, host and participate in community and in-store events to steer growth and build revenue.

Enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws and regulations. Audit loan / pawn agreements and transactions to ensure staff accordance with procedures and practices.

Participate in audits and compliance reviews as directed by the corporate office or District Manager.

Supervise and maintain office security including cash management and loss prevention by verifying and documenting cash overages / shortages, vault, inventory, deposits, and expenses.

Conduct proper opening and closing procedures.

Examine, evaluate, and process loan / pawn applications and all relevant transactions, and assess risk within established limits.

Participate in the selection, review, hiring, and retention of new employees.

Develop work schedules in accordance with budget, workloads, and store needs. Ensure store is staffed for optimal performance.

Handle complex customer situations that arise with integrity and professionalism.

Monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance and address basic facilities needs, including scheduling maintenance services.

This includes overseeing store planogram and ensuring seasonal and / or promotional marketing material are displayed properly.

Work efficiently in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment and handle multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards.

Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with customers and Team Members at all levels.

Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including some weekend hours, is required for this position.

A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 40-hours per week*.

Store hours, schedules, and / or the minimum number of hours required for this position may be subject to change by brand entity and at the sole discretion of the Company.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
  • Minimum one year customer service, retail, and / or sales experience
  • Hands on cash management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using phone system, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
  • Background check required. All background checks are conducted, and their results are considered, in accordance with applicable law.
  • Physical demands of this position frequently include : the ability to remain in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
  • Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations
  • Ability to work with corporate teams during rotational training and align store goals with broader business objectives
  • Adaptability with shifting between store and corporate responsibilities, and thriving in dynamic, fast-changing environments
