Job Summary
The Assistant Day Service Manager will oversee the provision of person-centered services, manage a team of support coaches & coordinators, develop day service programs based upon our needs, and meet our annual budget projections.
- Work Schedule : Monday through Friday from 7 : 30 PM to 4 : 30 PM
- Wage : $20.50 per hour

Service Delivery : Provides and oversees the provision of person-centered services so that processes and procedures are clearly defined and evaluated regularly, and quality is improved upon continuously.
Evaluate persons served individual level readiness for increased independence.
Personnel Management : Supervises staff by clearly identifying roles and responsibilities, enhancing skills, and promoting teamwork.
Recruits, interviews and hires staff based on qualifications as specified in the job description
- Program Development : Develop Day Services to meet the demanding and ever-changing needs of the individuals’ seeking supports.
- Financial Management : Assists in creation of and monitors budget so that projections are achieved.
What will you bring to Opportunity Partners?
One year of supervisory experience is preferred.
We are seeking a candidate, who meets one of the Designated Coordinator criteria :
- Preferred : a 4-year degree in Human Services or a related field plus at least on year of experience in the human service industry;
- A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older;
- An associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older;
- A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older;
- A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications listed above.
