About The Position

ID : 51479846 Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Description : Perm candidates of any OTHER providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.

All Swedish facilities honor active compact license.Please indicate the WA license status : Active , in Process or no license on your profile.

IF " in process status " Please provide applied date and ETA of issue dateCan submit with pending WA licenseMinimum experience required - at least 2 years experience, primarily on a surgical unit, orthopedic experience preferred.

Screen candidates with 1 plus years acute care MS.Travelers are first to float to other acute care units. In this setting they go first to SOI 5 which is Med / Surg if there is a need and then to there acute care units.

Most patients are postoperative elective orthopedic surgery patients however some are fracture patients that come in from the emergency department.

The Swedish Orthopedic Institute (SOI) building is part of the First Hill Campus of Swedish Medical Center. It is attached by a skybridge to the main campus and we share ancillary services.

The nursing unit is a wonderful environment for both patient and caregivers. All rooms are private with a computer in each room and an overhead lift.

Rooms are large and work well for the Orthopedic population.SOI 3 / 4 is Orthopedics (two units). Candidated with strong surgical experience do well but wil accept MS nurses with strong OrthoSOI 5 is Med / Surgno set color or patterns for scrubs, mainly a professional appearance.

No exceptions.Floating : All travelers are expected to float to another unit within their scop of practice if needed. The facility has a designated float team that floats first however, in the event there is a need at another campus travelers will float first before perm staff.

All facilities are within a 40-mile radius or less. In the event that the traveler needs to float, it their responsibility to find transportation to the facility they re floated to.

Traveler s refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and / or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.REFERENCES - Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year (6 months for CNA s) of employment total within the last three years within a comparable specialty / setting that they are are non-billable, average 16 hours spent.

Over 20 hours requires PM approvalModules are completed pre-start, and annuallyTime spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts Guaranteed Hours : Contract Weeks : 91
