- Skill Required : Cerner, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, IV insulin protocols, GI surgery, Chronic / Acute Renal failure and IV therapy, CVA / Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drains (EVD), Hypothermia protocol / Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Respiratory / Thoracic care, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions / Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains / Wound Vac
- Patient Diagnosis : Post-transplant (liver, kidney / pancreas, small intestine, islet cell, multivisceral), ESLD, ESRD, thoracic / abdominal / ENT / Flaps / General surgery, sepsis, multisystem organ failure, pre-transplant hepatology patients, overflow from neurosurgery (craniotomy, CVA, etc.), overflow from MICU.
- 2 Years Minimum Experience Required
- Must have 1 prior travel assignment
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
- May come into contact with Covid Patients
- Rotating shifts can vary between switching between days and nights within the same week and / or working a few weeks of days and then a few weeks of nights.
Flexibility is a must.
