Job Title : IT Developer

Overview : I’m looking for a talented IT Developer to play a key role in driving the digital transformation of a dynamic company in the electrical and construction industry.

This position requires a developer with expertise in software development, system integration, and process optimization to enhance operational efficiency across multiple departments.

The successful candidate will contribute to developing innovative software solutions, focusing on streamlining communication and supporting business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Software Development : Design, develop, and maintain custom applications for construction management, project tracking, resource planning, and field operations.
• System Integration : Work across teams to integrate software systems like ERP, CRM, and project management tools for seamless data flow and process automation.
• Frontend Development : Build responsive web interfaces using JavaScript and Angular v12.
• Backend Development : Develop server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js.
• Methodology & Tools : Operate within an Agile Scrum framework, using Jira for managing sprints and ticketing.
• Migration Support : Assist in the conversion of legacy Visual Basic applications to modern ASP solutions.
• Technical Support & Training : Offer technical support for applications and help train users on new systems and software solutions.
• Process Optimization : Identify opportunities to enhance software solutions and propose updates for better operational efficiency.
• Database Management : Design and manage SQL databases, including SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Microsoft Bi and SQL Analysis Services, ensuring data security and accessibility.

Structure : 5 days a week onsite (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience : 3-5 years of software development experience, preferably in the construction or related industries.
• Technical Skills :
• SQL database management, SSRS, SSIS, and SQL Analysis Services.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular v12, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems such as Trimble Spectrum.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Scrum methodology.
• Exposure to migrating applications from VB to ASP is a plus.
• Knowledge on construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or Revit.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
