Position Summary :
Responsible for performing clerical, reception, and administrative duties in physician practices. Displays maturity, flexibility, and effective organization and communication skills in dealing with other people.
Works cooperatively with other departments and promotes teamwork within the department. Performs any or all of the following job duties in a physician office check-in / registration, triage phone calls / electronic messages, and check-out (order entry, appointment / test / procedure / surgery scheduling, pre-certs, referrals, and prior authorizations).
Maintains a pleasant, efficient, and well-organized working environment. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements :
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience : Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting
