Your Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and technicians on municipal projects.
Project engineering responsibilities include infrastructure design, preparation of construction documents, cost estimating, and thorough project QA / QC.
Project Management duties include developing and managing the project scope, schedule, and budget; and delivering an overall quality project to our clients.
Collaboration with a team of engineers and mentoring of entry-level staff will be essential.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Experience developing and maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Experience with municipal projects involving infrastructure design, site / civil design, roadway rehabilitation / reconstruction, and pedestrian / bicycle facilities.
- Understanding of State, Local, and Federal funding programs.
- Understanding City of Columbus and ODOT design criteria, standards, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
- The desire and ability to build strong client relationships.
- The desire and ability to train entry-level engineers and interns.
- Experience with AutoCAD / Civil 3D is a plus.
- Experience with HydroCAD is a plus.
- Participation in local professional society functions is a plus.
