We are looking for qualified, motivated experienced professionals who have taken a break to invest in their families and loved ones and are now looking to ReInvest in their career.
Our ReInvest Program is a 6 month paid program, beginning September and ending late March. Opportunities are available across a number of business units.
What You'll Do :
- Spend 6 months in a paid returnship program with a cohort of your peers
- Take on meaningful project work based on your expertise and experience
- Participate in development workshops and training sessions designed to support your career re-entry
- Have regular check-ins with a mentor who can advise and guide you
What We’re Looking For :
- You have taken a career break for one year or more and are interested in getting back to full-time work
- You have had a minimum 3 to 5 years professional work experience prior to your career break, at Associate-SVP level
- You are a person of integrity, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Who You’ll Work With :
The Legal and Compliance Department is responsible for ensuring compliance with all the legal and regulatory requirements to which we are subject, protecting the firm from regulatory and reputational risk across the globe, and strengthening the firm’s culture of compliance.
We do this through collaborative partnership with the business units we support by providing thoughtful and timely advice.
In addition, the department conducts global monitoring and training activities that detect, address, and mitigate regulatory and reputational risk.
Our advice coupled with monitoring and training activities provide the framework to support the firm’s business strategy and objectives while maintaining a high standard for integrity.
What You’ll Do :
- Assist with internal compliance databases for policies and procedures, training, outside business activities, restricted / watch lists, registrations, etc.
- Answer questions from employees about compliance policies
- Prepare and administer compliance trainings
- Perform compliance surveillance across several areas of risk, including Code of Ethics, Anti-Money Laundering, Trading, and / or Electronic Communications.
- Assist with registration matters for the various investment adviser and broker dealer entities
- Assist with the preparation and submission of various regulatory filings and examinations
- Gain exposure to other areas within Compliance, where you will have an opportunity to take on additional responsibilities
What We’re Looking For :
- A Bachelor’s degree (in a Finance-related area would be a plus but not required)
- Strong PC / technology skills
- Experience with MS Word, SharePoint, and Excel is a must
- General experience with vendor applications a plus
- An eagerness and a drive to learn
