Duties :
- Handle personal injury cases from intake through settlement or jury verdict
- Engage in client communication and case updates
- Lead and defend depositions
- Draft and respond to motions
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Develop case strategies and prepare cases for trial
- Lead mediations and settlement negotiations
- Work collaboratively with legal staff and support teams
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing personal injury law, with trial experience
- Ability to present and discuss prior verdicts
- Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia State Bar
- Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence
- Proven experience drafting and responding to motions
Education :
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Must be a licensed attorney in Georgia
Certifications :
An active member of the Georgia State Bar
Skills :
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent negotiation and mediation abilities
- Analytical thinking with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage a heavy caseload and meet deadlines
