Schedule : PRN (4hr per week) Shift : Day Shift Location : AdventHealth La Grange Hospital The role you’ll contribute : + Provides mammography imaging services.

The value you’ll bring to the team : + Operates X-ray equipment and performs various mammography related procedures. Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

• Explains procedures and educates patients about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health. + Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : + Graduate of a 2-year allied health program required.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiology Technician credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required + Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
