Zurich North America is currently hiring a Business Systems Analyst III working out of our Schaumburg, IL North America Headquarters.
The Business Systems Analyst will play a critical role in the Premium Audit Modernization initiative by facilitating implementation of new Premium Audit application which includes new technologies (e.
g., automation, GenAI) and interfaces to legacy systems. They will lead workstreams and be backup to the lead scrum master on all workstreams.
Upon completion of this project, the individual will continue to have a role in support of the Premium Audit application and work with additional projects.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, elaborate and document business requirements
- Analyze and translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with Design / Architectural decisions
- Should be familiar in creating Business process flows, IT / data flow artifacts
- Work closely with the development and architecture teams to design robust and scalable systems that meet the requirements
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of project progress and outcomes.
- Work closely with product owner and assist with backlog
- Acting lead on sub-components of overall project
Required :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or Engineering and 8 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area AND
- Experience with use case development
- Experience with process modeling tools
- Process reengineering; LEAN / Six Sigma experience
- Insurance application system design / analysis experience
- Experience with Rapid Application Development (RAD) tools / techniques
Preferred Qualifications :
- Advanced Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Jira
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office including Visio
- Experience using collaboration tools such as Mural or MS Whiteboard
- Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP)
- Consulting experience
- Proven experience as a Technical BSA in large-scale digital transformation programs within the Accident and Health Insurance domain.
- Strong knowledge of business processes and operations in the insurance industry
- Experience with system integration and interoperability.
- Relevant certifications in Business Analysis or related field are a plus.
- Agile Certification CSM, CPO etc.
