1 Resource Group is seeking a skilled Generator Technician to join our clients team in Albany, GA. As a Generator Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of generators used in various industries including construction, industrial, and manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machinery and possess a dedication to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on generators
- Troubleshoot generator issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Install and commission new generators according to manufacturer's guidelines
- Test and evaluate generator performance
- Respond to emergency generator service calls
- Maintain accurate records of service performed
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Generator Technician
- Knowledge of AC / DC electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
