Job Overview

You’ll collaborate closely with other team members to design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities across the WriteHuman platform.

You’ll have the freedom to experiment, iterate quickly, and contribute to all aspects of our tech stack, from backend systems to frontend interfaces.

What your first few months will look like

In your first few months at WriteHuman, you’ll play a critical role in driving the development of our platform. Here’s what a successful start might look like :

Onboarding & Immersion : You’ll spend the first few weeks diving deep into our platform, understanding our tech stack, and getting to know the team.

You'll quickly get up to speed on our product goals, AI features, and development processes.

  • Delivering Early Wins : By the end of your first month, you'll have tackled your first major feature or improvement. Whether it’s enhancing existing functionality or building something from scratch, you’ll be delivering value right away.
  • Building Key Features : In the second and third months, you’ll take ownership of more complex features or integrations, collaborating with the founder and team members to ensure smooth execution.
  • Identifying Opportunities for Growth : With a strong foundation in place, you’ll begin identifying opportunities for optimization and proposing new ideas for future product features, demonstrating your entrepreneurial mindset and initiative.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience , demonstrated through completed projects or products, with a focus on full-cycle development, including scoping, building, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong proficiency in Python , showcased by working on production-level Python applications or APIs. Prior experience with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI, and proven ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts , with practical experience applying these concepts in software development.

Examples may include working with models, building machine learning pipelines, or integrating AI services such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, PyTorch, or TensorFlow into applications.

  • Experience with serverless architecture using platforms like AWS Lambda or Heroku. Proven ability to deploy, scale, and manage applications in a serverless environment, with a focus on cost efficiency and high availability.
  • Experience with no-code platforms like Bubble.io is a plus, with a preference for candidates who have built or contributed to projects using visual development tools, including workflows and integrations between no-code and code-based solutions.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Experience in troubleshooting production issues and resolving them efficiently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills , demonstrated through previous experience working with a hybrid team using tools like Slack, Jira, or Trello, and contributing to code and design reviews.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies , with a track record of experimenting with emerging tools and implementing them in real-world projects.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset , evidenced by taking responsibility for projects from ideation to execution, including scope definition, prioritization, and delivery within an agile framework.
