Description

Scopely is looking for a Principal Product Manager to join an ambitious new AAA cross-platform game in Culver City on a hybrid basis or remotely in the US.

What You Will Do :

  • Drive product vision and strategy across a broad range of key game initiatives focused on Player Journey FTUE, player-pathing, social systems)
  • Proactively identify improvements and optimizations of player experience at each stage of the player lifecycle funnel - acquisition to elder-game retention
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including defining product requirements and partnering with the studio team on feature development.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including game designers, engineers, artists, UX / UI, and data analysts, to create best-in-class player-centric product experiences.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics, player feedback, and market insights to refine product offerings and enhance player experience.
  • Manage key aspects of live operations, contributing to the long-term success of engagement and retention systems post-launch.
  • Mentor growing team of product managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with product reviews, forecasting, and strategic business planning; contribute to communication and alignment with senior leadership.

What We're Looking For :

  • Proven track record in leading product management for successful free-to-play (F2P) games, with a strong understanding of player engagement strategies and live operations.
  • 6+ years of product management experience on a game team or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience leveraging real-time segmentation, multivariate testing and experimentation to drive actionable business insights.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to challenge conventional approaches to improve product KPIs.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to mobilize diverse teams towards a unified goal.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience analyzing large data-sets to drive insights and improvements; Experience with Excel, SQL, Tableau, Looker, etc.

Bonus Points :

  • A passion for gaming, with an understanding of what makes a game appealing to a diverse range of players.
  • Experience in cross-platform (Console, PC, Mobile) game development and operations.
  • Experience working on a AAA game with global scale through development, launch, and LiveOps.

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $169,600 - $253,000, plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience .
