Responsibilities :

As a Senior Network SecurityEngineer you will provide leadership and handson expertise for adiverse set of network security projects including but not limitedto cloud firewall WAF and Web proxies.

Leadand support information security projects by researchingdocumenting and assisting with the implementation of networksecurity products.

Provide engineering andoperational support for network security products and services (newdeployments hardware refresh / upgrades migrations and featureimplementation).

Security policyadministration on various network security products.

Work closely with the architecture teams to evaluatethe security readiness of new features and functionalities innetwork security products.

Improve andimplement security hardening processes for overall infrastructuresecurity patch management and documentation.

Mentor and guide other teams in the organization onnetwork security best practices security vulnerabilities andimplementation / enforcement of the compensatingcontrols.

Firewall & Network Securityrule design and administration across multiple platforms (Cloud / AWS)

Firewalling / ACLs (TraditionalSegmentation)

Zero Trust Network Policy(Micro Firewall & Network Security rule design andadministration across multiple platforms :

Network traffic flow analysis utilizing a SIEM platform(Splunk)

Qualifications :

A Minimum 5 years in a handson technical experience inimplementing Network Security products like firewall cloud / onsiteweb proxies and DDoS mitigation solutions

Knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto FW) preferred

Cloud Security AWS preferred

Possess a strong understanding of security operations concepts suchas perimeter defense BYOD management data loss protection insiderthreat killchain analysis risk assessment and securitymetrics

Have a strong understanding ofnetwork protocols

Follows InformationSecurity best practices

Have the desire tolearn new technologies share best practices and contribute to thebroader shared knowledge of a global infrastructure and securityteam

An ability to selforganize prioritizeactivities independently create documentation andreporting

Prior experience interfacing withbusiness and technology stakeholders

Experience managing stakeholder expectations in the delivery ofprojects

Enables creative solutions bystimulating ideas through discussion and collaboration

An ability to manage uncertainty well able to assessand act with good enough but imperfect or incompleteinformation

Have strong written and oralcommunication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas tonontechnical individuals at any level
