SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER
Job Title : Senior Process Engineer
Location : Greater Houston Area
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
Summary :
A large Chemical Manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Process Engineer for their Greater Houston Area facility.
Responsibilities
The ideal Senior Process Engineer will have the following responsibilities :
- Solve problems & design new processes like heat transfer, equipment sizing, MOC selection, etc.
- Evaluate plant for potential processing hazards and quality control issues
- Manage capital projects in the sense of scope, schedule and budget development and control throughout the entire project life cycle
- Provide PSM (Process Safety Management) support
- Expertise with Process Unit Operations (batch reactions, solids handling, filtration, etc.)
- Support business growth by improving existing chemical tolling operations and evaluating process alternatives.
Qualifications
The ideal Senior Process Engineer will have the following skillset :
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
- 15+ years' experience as Senior Process and / or Project Engineer in plant
- Expertise in leading design, procurement, construction & commissioning on new projects at the plant
- Support business growth by improving existing chemical tolling operations and evaluating process alternatives.
- Provide process development and definition, detailed process design, project engineering, contractor supervision, QA, safety, and compliance
