Location : Various locations across Georgia
The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and package prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels of medications and supplies.
- Assist patients in locating over-the-counter products and provide basic medication information.
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Completion of a pharmacy technician program from an accredited institution.
- Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for patient interaction.
