The Sales Support Specialist II will support and assist the sales team to ensure successful results with our customers and operations while helping build out bench strength for the future.
This position requires you to be the best in the field of both service and support while supporting our operations’ strategic plan goals of continuous growth.
It requires the individual to be trained and operate with a service and sales mindset driving for mutual success for both the company and the customer.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Support Functions and Collaboration Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence, and teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
Cover workload increases to support fluctuating sales demands and business growthReview shipping details, match with BOL, customer PO’s and assist in correcting any discrepancies.
Assist sales in calling, inquiring on additional product needs, entering and following up on reoccurring customer orders.
Manage, book and track ground and air freight for key customers. Follow up on missing trucks or late deliveries. Notify appropriate parties or status.
Vacation, meeting, or project coverage as the team requires.
Customer Service Management Facilitate new customer set-up and follow through to completion.Assist with customer audits as needed.
Ensure customer satisfaction with outstanding customer service and establish creative approaches to solving customer issues.
Coordinate, pack and follow up on customer product samples.Assist in delivering customer bids and quotes.
Sales Performance Support and Monitoring Build sales plan, warm / cold call and revitalize underserviced or inactive accounts.
Review daily KPI reports and assist with production planning and sales goal attainmentTrack and report sales and production activity in enterprise operating system.
Lead generation creating call sheets for themselves and others.

Education and Experience
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two-year related experience and / or training
- Valid driver’s license.
- Requires ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
Preferred
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from an accredited college or university in culinary arts, aquaculture, or business degree.

Compensation
Salary - $55,000 to $75,000 DOE per year
