As a key member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to report and collaborate closely with our Practice Line Leader and the dynamic Environmental Assessment and Remediation team.

What You'll Do :

Build Strong Relationships : Foster lasting connections with clients and regulatory agencies. Through exceptional communication and interaction, establish trust and credibility.

Leverage these relationships to identify new business opportunities.

Promote Growth : Play an active role in Marketing and Business Development presentations. Showcase our expertise, highlight successful projects, and attract new clients.

Identify potential partnerships and collaborations.

Lead the Way : Take charge of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Initial Site Assessments (Caltrans), Hazardous Materials Assessments (CEQA / NEPA), Preliminary Endangerment Assessments (PEAs), Removal Action Workplans (RAWs), Remedial Action Plans (RAPs), Risk Assessments, and other vital environmental documents.

Drive project success by ensuring compliance and efficient execution.

Craft Solutions : Prepare accurate and timely estimates, proposals, and schedules that bring our environmental projects to life.

Collaborate with clients to tailor solutions that meet their unique needs.

Drive Projects Forward : Oversee subsurface investigation and remediation projects, ensuring they stay on track, on budget, and on time.

Proactively address challenges and maintain positive client relationships throughout project lifecycles.

  • Ensure Excellence : Provide expert peer reviews on deliverables, ensuring our high standards are consistently met. Strive for excellence in every aspect of project execution.
  • Mentor & Inspire : Share your knowledge and experience by training and mentoring our talented team. Empower them to excel in their roles, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

What We're Looking For :

Educational Foundation : A Bachelor's degree in Geology or Civil Engineering with relevant professional registration / certification (e.

g., California Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer).

Leadership & Client Management : Strong leadership and client management abilities, with a knack for fostering lasting relationships.

Track record of brining in business and business development

  • Seasoned Expertise : At least 10 years of experience in environmental subsurface investigation, with 5+ years in project management, staff supervision, and client interaction.
  • Regulatory Savvy : A deep understanding of Federal, State, and local environmental regulations and requirements.
  • Communication Skills : Exceptional technical writing, oral communication, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Technical Proficiency : Ability to design field sampling programs, manage multiple subcontractors, and interpret complex data.
  • Quality Service : A reputation for delivering quality services and the ability to attract new clients and business.
  • Client Advocate : A proactive approach to liaising and advocating for clients with environmental regulatory agencies.
  • Team Player : Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Detail-Oriented : Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet budgets and schedules.
  • Qualifications : A valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a background check, and pre-employment drug test. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification a plus
  • Tech-Savvy : Proficiency with Microsoft Office®.
  • Willingness to Travel : Willingness to travel regionally for short periods of time.
