Connected Health Care is thrilled to partner with a leading healthcare facility in Onawa, IA, to find a dedicated X-Ray Tech for a permanent position.
This is an excellent opportunity for radiologic technologists seeking a stable and rewarding career with day shift availability.
Job Description :
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce high-quality images for interpretation by physicians.
- Prepare and position patients for X-ray examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, adhering to safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines.
- Review and evaluate developed X-rays to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment.
Education and Certification Requirements :
- Current and valid Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) license in the state of Iowa.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
