Senior-level Special Security Technician (Information Security Support) - CENTCOM

LOCATION : CENTCOM HQ on MacDill AFB (Tampa, FL)

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT : Active TS / SCI with Poly Security Clearance

Responsibilities :

• The Contractor shall research, support development of and prepare intelligence assessments in formats approved by DIA / CENTCOM, meet, or exceed DIA / CENTCOM quality and tradecraft standards, and provide products within mutually agreed upon timelines.
• The Contractor shall brief and train proper command security practices for the Command Security Indoctrination briefings to promote Security Education, Training & Awareness (SETA).
• The Contractor shall update local security publications as required, consistent with DoD / DIA guidance.
• The Contractor shall provide input into CENTCOM history reports and maintain the SSO webpage.
• The Contractor shall inspect and draft written feedback in support of the Command Inspection Program.
• The Contractor shall coordinate, track, document, brief, train and issue courier authorization in support of the Courier Authorization Program.
• The Contractor shall coordinate with customers and Defense Courier Service staff for the delivery and pickup of classified material and provide SME guidance for forward deployed units.
• The Contractor shall identify and analyze security vulnerabilities that affect remedial training in support of the Security Incident Program.
• The Contractor shall coordinate and support the command Annual / Hurricane Clean Out Program, the Wearable Fitness Device (WFD) Program, the Random Anti-terrorism Measures (RAM) Program and other security related programs for Command.
• The Contractor shall support the Information Security Working Group, the monthly brief for the CoS and Tasker Management Program.

Required Experience : Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor

category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Desired Education : Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.

S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.

S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.
