This position is part of the Gene Reading Solutions Team supporting the Archer NGS Product line located in Boulder, Colorado and will be on-site.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :
- Assist a cross-functional team in the development, launch, and sustainment of innovative NGS products; demonstrate the application of Archer NGS Products
- Plan and conduct experiments, perform data analysis, and interpret results with minimal to moderate oversight
- Become a subject matter expert in Archer NGS chemistries and Archer Analysis
- Brainstorm creative solutions to improve existing Archer technology and drive future growth
- Prepare and deliver presentations to the broader R&D group
The essential requirements of the job include :
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or other relevant scientific discipline
- 0-2 years of experience in the life science or biotechnology industry
- 3+ years of lab experience required, including relevant Molecular Biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, sample purification, and NGS library preparation
- Demonstrated ability to design experiments and interpret results
- Demonstrated strong communication skills and ability to thrive and contribute in group settings
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :
- Proficiency in assay optimization and troubleshooting
- Experience with Mac OS command line interface or basic bioinformatics tools (primer3, IGV, bedtools)
- Experience with a variety of next-generation sequencing library preparation methods
The salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.
