The host / hostessresponsibility is to greet all guests who enter the restaurant with passion andenthusiasm and use excellent communication and organizational skills to ensureeveryone is seated appropriately and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to) :
- Guest first focus, delivering exceptional guest service is a top-priority.
- Teamwork, time management, multitasking, and menu knowledge
- Coordinates the operation of the dining room during meal service periods, adjusting seating flow in such a manner as to balance guests among the various service stations
- Takes all to-go orders and ensures order accuracy with guest to provide the best experience possible.
- Answers telephone calls to the restaurant
- Takes reservations
Job Requirements :
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours while maintaining a fun and positive attitude
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities while in a fast-paced environment
- Able to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
- Work experience in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred
