About The Position
Job Title : CT / X-ray Technician Job Specialty : Dual Modality (CT and X-ray) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Mid - 10x4 - 12 PM to 10 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years preferred License : Active Virginia State License Certifications : AHA BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R Must-Have : Strong IV skills Job Description : Perform CT and X-ray studies, including heads, abdomen, pelvis, angio, extremities, and chest (portable) routine exams.
Handle 0-15 studies per day, with a possibility of up to 22 exams (though rare).- Operate EMR / Equipment Brand EPIC and Fuji PACs.
Experience with PACS Visage is preferred.- Use GE CT unit and Philips X-ray units.- Participate in one weekend backup on-call per month and be available for one major and one minor holiday during the contract.
Comply with scrub color requirements (black) and demonstrate strong IV skills as there is no IV team.- Work specific shifts as noted : Tuesday-Friday 12 PM-10 : 30 PM;
with a potential shift change to Sunday-Thursday 11 PM-7 AM between 10 / 20-11 / 5.- No weekend, floating, or on-call expectations beyond what is noted.
Complete floor-specific orientation and access Epic, especially the Radiant module for duties.- Follow weekend and holiday expectations as outlined in the contract.
