Job Description
The responsibilities and duties of this position described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.
This position reports to the Sr. Director, Global Talent Acquisition.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
TALENT ACQUISITION :
- Assist Senior Management of Talent Department w / regional scouting & recruiting research
- Network through industry contacts, employees, social media, fitness blogs and job boards as well as attend relevant industry events to recruit high level talent
- Partner w / Talent Management to identify market needs
- Coordinate and promote audition campaigns in conjunction with PR and Marketing
- Manage all Talent Acquisition programs including Smartrecruiters, Spark Hire, Soul-R
- Monitor & manage SoulCycle audition inbox and correspondence
- Manage in-market, in-person auditions in partnership with Studio Crew & Training Officers
- Coordinate & manage all candidate deliberations & interviews w / Talent Team
- Partner w / Recruiting & People teams in tracking verbal / written offers to accepted candidates
INSTRUCTOR TRAINING :
- Partner with the Sr. Manager of Instructor Development & Training to update curriculum, seminars and workshops.
- Design regionalized training programs to support the scale of the business
- Arrange Training Officers schedule & assigned workshops, seminars & drills.
- Track and communicate all payroll information to People & Ops teams as it pertains to Training Officers & Instructor Trainees
- Track and update expense reports as it pertains to Instructor Talent Acquisition & Training.
- Partner with Talent Management & People with Instructor on-boarding and pass-off.
Qualifications
- Must have a degree from an accredited four year college or university
- Must be extremely detail oriented
- Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Experience leadership is a plus
- Should have a strong ability to communicate clearly with team members and senior management
- Proficient in Google & MS Office applications
- A personal passion for fitness and / or SoulCycle a huge plus
- Experience compiling and delivering constructive feedback
- Has a strong sense of urgency and quick turnaround
- Positive, can-do, attitude
