Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in manual software testing, with a strong emphasis on UI testing.
- A background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like JIRA.
- A basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is beneficial.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to work independently and in a team.
Preferred Skills :
Experience using JIRA for bug tracking and project management.
Proven ability to work in an Agile / Scrum development environment.
Previous experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
What You Will Be Doing
- Designed, developed, and maintained comprehensive manual test scripts for UI testing based on business requirements and user stories.
- Execute detailed regression tests to ensure application stability after updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Perform extensive manual testing of web and mobile UIs to ensure functionality, usability, and consistency across different browsers and devices.
- Identify, document, and report defects, inconsistencies, and issues clearly and concisely using JIRA.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain detailed and accurate test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect logs.
- Utilize knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) to ensure security features and access controls are functioning correctly.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and grooming sessions.
- Provide feedback on application usability and suggest improvements for better user experience.
