Responsibilities include :
- Evaluate and integrate applications to satisfy user requirements
- Specifically, the candidate will be supporting an integration project focused on microservices
- Candidate receives software containers (and sometimes source code) from other vendors and integrates them together
- Use technical expertise to provide innovative solutions
- Support requirements analyses and software development as needed
- Follow formal development methodologies adhering to design specification, design techniques, standards and established development guidelines as needed
- Develop and maintain software technical documentation to assist in application maintenance and deployment
- Test software components for adherence to the user requirements
- Assist with the preparation of user and administrator documentation
- Adhere and support AGILE process-based development
- Expect at least 50% on site support
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Technical Experience Requirements :
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have an active SECRET clearance, TS with SCI eligibility is preferred
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
- Linux specifically RHEL but knowledge about other Linux distributions is acceptable, NO development is Windows
- Working knowledge of GitLab required
- Strongly desired experience with DevOps, CI / CD
- Must have experience with Kubernetes or containerization (Docker)
- Demonstrated strong skills in one or more of the following programming languages : C++, Java, Python, QT, MATLAB
- Strong Desire : Open Mission Systems (OMS), AFSIM, HPC, Micro Services architectures
- Demonstrated experience working groups, teams and IPTs.
- Ability to work efficiently on teams and also individually with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, communication, and attention to detail skills
