Role Overview :

As a Program Manager you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for executing strategic projects to advance Global Atlantic Investment team priorities and deliver impactful scale / growth, risk and control and efficiency opportunities using effective program delivery methods, functional and technical expertise, and stakeholder management skills.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of asset management businesses, Alternative assets, software development processes, and a proven track record of successfully delivering large scale initiatives within the financial industry.

This position is open in our New York or Boston office.

  • This position will be a direct report to Head of Investment Operations, at Global Atlantic Financial Group. The role is focused on the design and implementation of integrated solutions to enable efficiencies and effectiveness;
  • supports the strategic planning, budgeting and governance of business transformation initiatives and facilitates coordination across functional and organizational boundaries;
  • collaborates with stakeholders to assess business process efficiency, operational performance and environmental factors to identify improvement opportunities;
  • manages and coordinates resources to support project management, business analysis and provides oversight of project execution;

and serves as a leader in the execution of large scale business transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the Transformation Program to create and deliver effective solutions across the Investment organization;
  • Establish proper program and project governance by organizing initiatives into discrete phases, workstreams and projects.
  • Coordinate alignment of requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide the development process and ensure clear communication between stakeholders in an agile environment.
  • Ensure projects and programs align with the strategic priorities of Investment organization;
  • Responsible for effective fiscal and resource management for designated program area;
  • Manage priorities, time constraints and initiative scope with sponsors and stakeholders across the duration of all project phases.
  • Provide oversight of multiple projects to ensure scope, project plan definition, timelines and stakeholder expectations are aligned for success.
  • Champion continuous core business capability improvement through timely adoption of innovative technologies and processes;
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders, Technology partners, Strategic Sourcing, and other key teams across organization

Qualifications

  • Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills : 10-15 years of experience within Finance in a Financial Services organization
  • Experience as an agile product owner or equivalent
  • Undergraduate degree required, CFA, MBA or other advanced degree also preferred
  • Proven leadership experience, including direct and influence leadership of diverse teams across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Passion and drive for continuous improvement, transformational change, with a business owner mentality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes and gain team member and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Cultural awareness with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience of running large scale projects.
  • Critical thinker and highly analytical with ability to solve complex problems that include the application of both good business sense and common sense
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem solving skills, ability to interpret data and synthesize complex issues to identify best solutions.
  • Leadership Competencies : Thinks Strategically Sets direction aligned to the company’s strategy,
  • Builds trusted relationships and collaborates across diverse and multi-functional teams to successfully drive business objectives.
  • Advanced skills in business management tools including : Microsoft Visio, Project and Alteryx

Preferred :

  • Experience with insurance industry and Financial Services.
  • Experience managing large transformational programs.
  • 10-15 years of experience in various business / technology roles with progressive responsibilities
  • Domain knowledge of Alternative assets

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications.

Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City.

The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office.

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range.

Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives.

Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives.

The base salary range for this role is$134,500 $256,500 USD

Global Atlantic reserves the right to modify the qualifications and requirements for this position to accommodate business needs and regulatory changes.

Future adjustments may include obtaining specific licenses or certifications to comply with operational needs and conform to applicable industry-specific regulatory requirements, state and federal laws.
