Job Summary
The Director of Quality Assurance should be able to create and implement a QA strategy that drives the quality of the Bambee Platform to a world class level across Quality Assurance Engineers and Software Engineers across multiple business domains.
Bambee is looking for an experienced quality leader with proven skills in building a top notch test organization, a hands-on manager with experience in defining processes and solutions for releasing high quality software in a fast paced environment, experience in various automation tools and frameworks, and well versed with software development and release cycles.
Salary Range : $135k - 145k annually
What You’ll Do - Director of Quality Assurance
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to drive quality upstream in requirements, design, document reviews, Pull Requests reviews, CI / CD, and analysis tools.
- Work with our Customer teams and internal teams to extract customer feedback and turn them into improvement initiatives
- Develop comprehensive quality dashboards that speak to quality at every stage of the development cycle from BRD, PRD, through to post release
- Roll up your sleeves and contribute alongside team(s) to drive delivery as a member of the Quality engineering team
- Drive adoption of automation throughout the product development team.
- Up level our talent and work with the team to adapt testing and reliability practices as needed.
- Manage the team, and it’s members through the full employee lifecycle
- Ensure delivery against QA department goals and objectives
- Study trends in and developments in quality management
- Continually improve internal quality practices
- Drive cross functional quality initiatives within the product development team, and across the company
- Regularly communicate with colleagues and executives about initiatives in the software testing space
Who You Are
- Education and / or equivalent work experience in computer science, engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software QA
- 3+ years of experience in software QA leadership and management
- Excellent communication skills, and an ability to summarize complex technical issues
- Hands on experience with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Github, and Confluence
