Position : Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of work for assigned construction projects.
May be assigned responsibility for one or more projects at a time.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field, or the equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of 4+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial construction, data center, and clean room processes.
- Understanding of estimating concepts to verify bids, understand market rates, and process change orders.
- Understanding of contractual language and concepts to protect the company while providing quality service to the client.
- Working knowledge of construction laws and practices.
- Understanding of building codes and design requirements necessary for the project.
- Ability to read and understand plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- High standards of ethical conduct regarding organizational policies.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills such as sensitivity and discernment.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member to achieve organizational and customer goals.
- Skilled at making verbal presentations with poise and mastery of language.
- Proper grammar and syntax in writing.
- Ability to delegate and use subordinates effectively.
- Ability to discern customer needs and follow through on reasonable requests.
- Professional demeanor in dress and speech, making a positive impression on customers.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and use the analysis to solve problems.
- Ability to manage processes to achieve challenging goals; self-starter who works independently.
- Ability to operate office equipment, such as computer, printer, phone, copier, fax, etc.
- Professional affiliation (e.g., AGC member) and professional credentials (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE)) preferred.
- Community service participation preferred.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
