Job Description
A Retail Associate is responsible for assisting customers as they shop within a store. Their duties include greeting customers, answering questions related to the merchandise and store policies and locating items for customers.
Retail Associate Responsibilities and Duties include :
- Welcome and engage with customers as they enter the store
- Assessing customer needs and suggesting solutions
- Working with cash registers and process payments
- Fulfill curbside orders
- Setting and attaining sales goals
- Giving customers advice about sales and promotions
- Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day
- Basic understanding of e-commerce process
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job :
- Comprehensive understanding of the store’s products
- Customer service skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use a cash register
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Knowledge and Skills :
Knowledge or understanding of working with Square POS System
Physical Requirements :
- Standing and walking for long periods of time
- Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds occasionally

We focus on Food, Supplements, Treats and Toys for Cats and Dogs at this time and are in a premium location at Liberty Town Center for significant foot traffic on the Weekends.
