Overview
Reports To : Mortgage Process Development Supervisor
Primary Functions : Perform Tier 2 systems support and system configuration duties as part of the Real Estate Systems department.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Maintain a basic working knowledge of mortgage workflow and processes.
- Provide Tier 2 software troubleshooting support, both on the Help Desk telephone and from the Real Estate Systems inbox for all systems / software administered by Real Estate Systems.
- Investigate confirmed software configuration defects to determine the cause and possible solutions.
- Perform configuration tasks in the Enterprise Lending Center (ELC), a mortgage Loan Origination System.
- Communicate testing methodology around new or modified configuration to Development Analysts for in depth testing purposes.
- Perform migrations of software configuration using the Configuration Migration Utility (CMU).
- Maintain detailed records of system configuration using multiple tools, including : IBM Blueworks - Workflows; JIRA - Agile Software Development tracking;
Microsoft Excel - System security settings; Microsoft SharePoint - Configuration migration scripts.
- Test software fixes provided by the development team to ensure they resolve reported issues.
- Manage ticket queues with multiple vendors and internal departments, provide detailed information for escalated tickets.
- Review existing software configuration to determine the effects of proposed enhancements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education : High School graduate or equivalent.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education : One year experience in a similar position or in systems analysis or configuration.
Experience / Skills : Familiarity with reading Visual Basic and SQL is desirable, but not required. Experience working in the mortgage industry preferred.
Excellent research and analytical skills. Thorough understanding of standard system logic and ability to reverse engineer system behavior to understand system processes.
Superior organization and documentation skills.
Tenure : The Real Estate Systems Configuration Analyst II, category 10, position requires one year tenure in the Real Estate Systems Configuration Analyst I, category 11, position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations.
The Senior Real Estate Systems Configuration Analyst, category 09, position requires two years tenure in the Real Estate Systems Configuration Analyst II, category 10, position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations.
Directly related work experience and / or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.
Compensation
Salary Pay Range :
- Real Estate Systems Configuration Analyst I (Category 11) : $52,258 - $81,523 annually
- Real Estate Systems Configuration Analyst II (Category 10) : $57,484 - $90,825 annually
- Senior Real Estate Systems Configuration Analyst (Category 09) : $63,233 - $101,804 annually
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
