JOB SUMMARY The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), headquartered in Daytona Beach, FL, is currently seeking a summer semester intern to support the Marketing, Communications, and Brand department.
The Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting the department on the execution of fan engagement through experiential marketing, digital / traditional marketing, and brand management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the creation of signage, circulars, mockups, e-mail campaigns, online promotion, etc.
- Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials.
- Assist with fulfillment of marketing offers.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials.
- Perform analysis of marketing and sales data.
- Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline.
- Provide support to social media efforts.
- Maintain tracking report of public relations activity.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of basic Marketing principles and procedures including digital marketing, market research, branding, and consumer behavior.
- Knowledge of current trends and social media platforms.
- Skilled in content creation, data analysis, and creative thinking.
- Skilled in written and oral communication.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Ability to be proactive, have excellent organizational skills, and perform efficiently.
- Ability and willingness to gain expertise and perform work in new areas.
INTERNSHIP QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited College or University.
- Progress toward a degree, major, or minor in Marketing, Sales, Advertising, or other related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,)
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application.
- Must be junior or senior level. Grad students and recent grads will be considered.
PROJECTED INTERNSHIP SCHEDULE
- Internship Duration : June 2025 to August 2025
- Work Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM
